Fees, field-by-field instructions, and submission details are based on the form itself and official DMV publications — not on other websites or forums. Fees in particular can change, so we recommend double-checking the current amount on dmv.ca.gov before paying anything.
What We Don't Use
We don't pull information from unofficial third-party sites, and we don't rely on user-submitted data. If something can't be confirmed against an official DMV source, it doesn't go on the page.

As forms and fees change, we update the relevant guides to match.
